The Skywald comic magazines from the 1970s were chock full of rather goofy content. However, even the goofiest stories can be entertaining if combined with some degree of novelty. So it is that 'Tapestry of Blood', from the October 1973 issue of Nightmare, features carnivorous snails (?!) and a surprise ending.
Jose Rubio was a Spanish artist who, as a member of the Selecciones Ilustradas agency, provided artwork to numerous American publishers during the 1970s.
